According to the reviews I read about this unit it, some of the positive statements were from customers saying that "the audio quality is really excellent, for its size". The were impressed that the Motion+ has punchy mids and very clear highs. The Bass is really good as well. They described it as a "full-range, portable, USB-C chargeable, and nice App controlled speaker." I found one review that says they tested several genres of music and the sound came through full and true. Very limited distortion at higher / max volumes...still very controlled sound overall at max. Looks like the App gives you many EQ options, plus a Custom EQ and the unit has an analog 3.5mm jack for those times when Bluetooth is not an option.

Some of the negative statements, though, say that they tried it with their orchestral pieces and the mids were almost non-existent. Another complained that their particular unit would be set up on their desk playing music quietly when out of the blue the volume would crank up to max on its own. Another states that they had trouble maintaining a stable connection.
