According to the reviews I read about this unit it, some of the positive statements were from customers saying that they were very impressed with the sound quality and design. Unit has a very large battery to it (12000 MA), two woofers, two tweeters and a large passive driver on the back. The buttons are located under the handle, and they are multifunction buttons, so make sure to read the manual to get the most out of this speaker. One customer stated that it seemed to have a good range when using Bluetooth as they have had no dropouts as of yet. The exterior is covered with a rubbery coating, seems like it will withstand a day at the pool or beach, but you are advised not to submersion it in water. Another customer says that the speaker delivers on "LOUD" and has a nice range even through walls. They cannot swear to the 100ft range, but say the speaker performed well 40ft away from the Bluetooth source. They go on to say that it does a good enough job reproducing sound accurately across the low/mid/high spectrum.

Some of the negative statements, though, say that one thing they did not like about this speaker is that you cannot customize the EQ to your liking. The defaults sound fine for virtually all genres of music, but would like more customization. And that the passive driver is essentially exposed on the back, means that a careless poke or drop could possibly rupture the material on the driver. One customer's opinion was that the speaker is not great. At low volumes, it sounds ok, it has decent clarity and a ton of bass. As soon as you start to turn up the volume the sound gets very hollow and tinny, the highs sound terrible, and there is way too much bass. One review stated that they thought the Bluetooth range is sub-par. Out of line of sight and you really can't expect much. He went on tot say that "if you don't really care about audio quality and just want a rugged boombox to blast tunes at the beach or a party then it could get the job done."
