According to the reviews I read about this unit it, some of the positive statements were from customers saying that "the audio quality is really excellent, for its size". They continue by saying that it has a very powerful crisp sound, great bass and you can play them loud with next to no distortion. They say that the instrument and vocal are on display with amazing crystal clarity. You can download an app to access other features like the Eq. One reviewer said that he played around with all the setting in the app and got it to a point that all noises or beeps, eve then ones when turning the unit on/off and connecting (all alerts that other Bluetooth speakers always make) were turned off.

Some of the negative statements, though, say that customer support is not great as it took them several tries to received a reply. No battery indicator so you can't tell if I need to charge. The power plug on the device is not USB type. If you lose it, you'd have to buy a new one from Minirig. One customer said that they did not exactly know which version of Bluetooth it was using. To them it seemed like it was using Bluetooth 4 and not Bluetooth 5. There were also some complaints about the app having some "glitches".
