Bluetooth connections are secure wireless connections

From the information I can find, it seems as if Bluetooth is more secure than Wi-Fi. I say "seems" because, as with any wireless system, your data could be transferred to others who you did not intend to have access to your information. And I'm not just talking about music streaming to your Bluetooth headphones. Generally speaking, however, the consensus is that devices connected through Bluetooth are generally secure and safe against hacking.
